More than a decade ago The Outdoorsmans team working with the master rifle makers at McMillan developed the ultimate long range hunting rifle. We are pleased to announce the new Outdoorsmans .30-378 is available and it is better than ever! The legendary McMillan G-30 action is the soul of this long-range powerhouse. The action is pillar glass bedded and the barrel is squared then free floated for reliable consistent accuracy. McMillan synthetic stocks have proven themselves in the mountains of Afghanistan to peaks in the Rockies. The heart of the Outdoorsmans .30-378 is the proven McMillan Hunter Stock incorporating McMillan's proprietary EDGE ultra-light graphite technology. The Outdoorsmans rifle is built with only the finest match grade stainless steel barrels. Each barrel is hand lapped, fluted, and finished with Roguard black for enhanced corrosion resistance. The custom Jewell trigger offers a super crisp break and is adjustable to your liking. The specially designed muzzle brake tames the recoil of the .30-378. An all aluminum floor plate helps keep the weight down to a comfortable 7 lbs 11oz. The Outdoorsmans .30-378 is shipped to you in a custom fitted top-quality hard case.
